Defending the Cause of the Poor and Oppressed

“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” – Psalm 82:3 NIV

Thinking about how the Lord sacrificed so much for me makes me want to redouble my efforts to serve. When my race here on earth is run, I want God to know that I did my best for Him.

Maybe that’s your priority, too, and why you support Everett Gospel Mission.

If you search for the word “poor” in the Bible, you’ll find 176 verses and most of them are reminders to care for the poor and especially the children – “the fatherless,” and the “orphans” are especially near and dear to God’s heart.

Or maybe you have other reasons to support Everett Gospel Mission.

Maybe you:
Want to improve the quality of life in your own community.
Think there are too many homeless people.
Know someone who is experiencing homelessness.
Have been there yourself and want to “pay it forward.”
Feel giving is an important tradition in your family.
Have compassion for those in need.

Whatever leads you to partner with us, we are so glad to have you. In many cases, your generosity makes a life and death difference. If you have found joy, satisfaction and some peace by partnering with Everett Gospel Mission, please let us know . . . and tell your friends!
