On February 26, 2011, one of the coldest days of the year, hundreds of people walked for hope with Everett Gospel Mission. This event was about raising funds to help those in need and about raising awareness. When it gets cold outside, it's easy for most of us to go inside, turn up the heat and cuddle up with a blanket to stay warm. Some of our neighbors do not have that luxury. Walk For Hope Here allows all of us to take a day and put ourselves in the shoes of our homeless neighbors; men, women and children, who have no where to go.
