About the Auxiliary

In 1967, the Everett Gospel Mission Auxiliary was formed to support the mission of the EGM, utilizing the time, talent, and fundraising efforts of its volunteers.

The Auxiliary is open to all interested individuals and holds regular meetings on the third Monday of the month, September; through May, 1:00 pm at the Women's Shelter,
5112 S. 2nd Ave, Everett, Bldg C.&;

The Auxiliary holds elections in May for its leadership board. The 2008-09 board members are:

  • * Mildred Love, President
  • * George Bekker, Vice President
  • * Betty McLennan, Treasurer 
  • * Mary Maxwell, Secretary

The Auxiliary is involved in regular activities to financially support the EGM, such as:

  • * Collecting corporate food donations for the Mission.
  • * Sorting donated goods & clothing every Monday morning at 9:00 AM at the Men's Mission, 3711 Smith Ave.
  • * Every two months, the Auxiliary holds a rummage sale at Baker Heights, 1401 Poplar Avenue, Everett, 9:00 AM until  2:30 PM.
