Be an ANGEL

The holiday season is especially hard on homeless families. That’s why we want to put extra effort into sharing the true joy of Christmas with all of our residents. One of the ways we do this is through the Angel Tree Program.

We started the Angel Tree Program as a way for caring partners to personally impact the lives of our residents by providing Christmas gifts that match up with their needs and desires.

Through this program, caring friends like you are invited to donate Christmas gifts for the men, women, children and families who are staying with us during the holiday season.

All of our residents have filled out a wish list to provide “Angels” with some ideas for appropriate gifts. You can select a gift from the list, or donate gift cards to allow us to shop on your behalf.

To be an “Angel,” contact Jonathan Anderson at janderson@egmission.org or 425.740.2506. Taking your children shopping for a homeless child who is their age is a great way to teach them about compassion and helping others.

Gifts must be unwrapped and delivered to the Mission administration building by December 16, 2014. If you would like to help wrap the gifts, let us know. We plan to have wrapping sessions on December 16, 17 and 18. Our goal is to have at least one gift delivered to every resident on Christmas Eve.
